Yesterday, Hanne invited me down to skråen to listen to Sko/Torp .. if you ever get the chance to go to one of their “acostic live” sessions, don’t miss out – It’s an absolute pleasure to enjoy so talented musicians and what they can do with just two guitars and a keyboard.
PS: Sorry about the poor image quality – the “Magic” camera is not that great! :)

| Got my cool Garmin Forerunner 60 today. I bought it at pulsure.dk which sold it at a fair price of 899,- DKK The cool thing about this watch is that a wireless heartbeat monitor is included along with the awesome Garmin Connect software (you can choose between the online and the desktop version). Anyways.. I’m planning to use the watch together with my new Wii board and my “personal” (game) trainer and during swimming - wish me luck :-) | |

Everything is booked and confirmed, so I thought I'll let you know that I'm going to TechEd EMEA 2008 Developers in Barcelona (10-14 November), and I'm really looking forward to experience TechEd.
If you're going, please let me know - we can team up and drink a beer, have a pizza or what-ever :)
I'll be staying at the Catalonia Atenas Hotel which is located downtown Barcelona, so I might get to visit La Sagrada Familia once again.

As some of you might know I started programming computers at the age of 12 on a Commodore Vic20, and after a couple of months moved on to the mighty Commodore64 (C64) where I did a lot of coding together with my very good (and oldest) friend Lars (LSP).
Together we formed DGS (Danish Game Smashers) where we improved our coding, hacking, cracking and other "nerdy" skills for several years by coding demos, attending parties and developing games (yes, we actually did several commercial games on the C64). Lars called himself "Terraman" and I came up with the name "Mr. Zork" (or just Zork .. so now you know why my BF2 profile is called "MHAZORKY" :-) ...after a few years on the C64 we moved on to code the Amiga, but that's another story (and maybe stuff for a future blog post).
However today Lars found a couple of our C64 demos on The C64 Demo Portal where it shows that our demos is still being downloaded!! So, 20 years AFTER we did the demo "Bodyshocker", it's still being downloaded (probably by old, sentimental C64 geeks!!). Until now it's been downloaded 689 times this year .. I simply find it amazing , that code we did 20 years ago, someone still find interesting enough to download and run/watch on a C64 emulator - I wonder if that will be the case with the code we're writing today?!

Only one week to SIGGRAPH - Once again I'm visiting the worlds largest convention about 3D computer graphics. This year the action takes place in San Diego. Furthermore I've also received my reservation ticket for the Softimage User Event tuesday evening at the Spreckels Theatre - it's going to be really awesome!
I hope to meet a lot of the "bad boys" from the danish 3D scene! - I'm staying at the Sofia Hotel which is located really close to the San Diego Convention Center - If you read this and you're in town, just drop a note at the frontdesk and we'll meet and drink a cold beer or two :-)
I'll try to find the time to update my blog with photos from the event, after all .. Computers with Internet access does not tend to be rare at SIGGRAPH.
